We’re talking about SPC flooring. SPC stands for Stone Plastic Composite, often called rigid core luxury vinyl flooring. It consists of five layers designed to resist wear and tear. The five layers include the PVC balance layer, SPC core layer, decorative layer with designs that can mimic wood, tile or other materials, a wear layer with super strong vinyl, and the final UV protective layer.

SPC flooring gives you the strength of stone without compromising on design or aesthetics. As a result, this type of flooring can last for decades.

Durability

SPC flooring resists almost all types of damage including scuff marks, fading, peeling, stains, mold and mildew. This makes it a breeze to keep clean and perfect for areas where there is heavy foot traffic. SPC is also resistant to swelling and contraction, whereas some flooring material like wood may expand and contract depending on the
